Hello, all you lovely people! What would you say if we kicked off another Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest? After highlighting a lot of fun Age of Calamity screenshots over the past several weeks, we’ll be veering away from the latest Hyrule Warriors game for a little while in order to highlight images from other Zelda titles. For this week’s contest, I wanted to subtly celebrate the release of the new Beatles: Get Back documentary — which I’ve been absolutely obsessed with — by featuring a fun, band-centric moment from Majora’s Mask. The Zora rockers Mikau and Japas are jamming out behind closed doors, and their fans are desperate to hear!

  • not you: Baby Sidon: “What are those words?”
Big Sidon: “That’s just the copyright, you can ignore it.”
  • L. Thomas: Any girl: Aww, Sidon and his baby form (UwU) is veeeeery cute.
  • Porter Frost: “Listen man, so that big octorok will eat you and what you’re gonna need to do after that…”
  • ALinkToTheFuture: “Hey, little… me. You wanna go slay the Lynel? What’s that, Link? That’s a bad idea for a child? Well, you’re not me, the super cute Sidon!”

This Week’s Contest:

“See the people standing there who disagree and never win, and wonder why they don’t get in my door.”

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
