'The Blacklist' Season 9 Episodes 6, 7 Release Dates, Spoilers: A Memorable Episode After Peter, Park's Possible Split

Fans are now looking forward to seeing "The Blacklist" Season 9 Episode 6 and Episode 7 after the series' hiatus. The show has been on a break, but viewers can expect to see another set of intense episodes when it returns.

"The Blacklist" Season 9 Episode 6 will be the last episode NBC will drop this year. This means "The Blacklist" Season 9 Episode 7 will be the first episode that will air in 2022 and it will be a big one.

Titled "Between Sleep and Awake," Episode 7 is said to be "memorable" for a lot of reasons. CarterMatt noted that the show might drift from the main storyline again, which happened in Season 8's final episodes.

After revealing the history of Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone), the said episode may focus on another character. It may also disclose further motives of the series' villain who is about to come.

Alternatively, if the upcoming episode ends with a major cliffhanger, it may open the door for a lot of possibilities for "The Blacklist" Season 9 Episode 7. Sadly, it will not be about the flashback of Red and Dembe's history (Hisham Tawfiq) after Liz's death.

TVLine revealed it would happen in a different episode and not this time. Meanwhile, "The Blacklist" Season 9 Episode 6 may feature more of the drama in Alina Park's (Laura Sohn) relationship.

After introducing her husband, Peter (Colby Lewis), in the previous episode, he learned her secret of returning to being a field agent again. Peter left the hospital after learning that his wife never told him she had already re-joined the task force, per Cheat Sheet.

So, in Episode 6, fans will once again see Lewis as Peter, though he may not look happy with his romance with Park. In the new episode promo, Peter leaves the Post Office elevator accompanied by an armed guard.

It does not reveal why Peter will go to the task force's headquarters, but it surely has something to do with Park. In another teaser, Peter is lying on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling as Park tries to talk to him.

By the looks of it, huge trouble is happening between the two, resulting at the end of Park's marriage. Will this happen?
