It seems DaniLeigh and her mom plan to keep their relationship strictly familial. On Sunday (December 5), the singer announced via Instagram her mother will no longer be her manager.

“Looking for an amazing manager,” she simply wrote. “Hit my email.”

Meanwhile, her mother Vicky Curiel explained in her own post, “I’ve taken this time to love myself, focus on myself, and reflecting on the fact that I’ve been living for others and not myself. Today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life, I come first. You have to love yourself first before you can love anyone else.

“I didn’t know that. I thank God for this opportunity & I look forward to my new life.”

Curiel’s departure comes after DaniLeigh and DaBaby’s heated argument in November, which resulted in the police being called and Dani being thrown out of DaBaby’s home along with their three-month-old daughter. A good amount of the fight was caught on Instagram Live, which DaBaby later said he turned on in order to protect his “safety” and “reputation.”

He also accused her of making “multiple threats of setting up [an] internet scheme.”

Dani heavily disputed DaBaby’s claims, saying on Instagram the argument stemmed from the “Easy” singer wanting to order Plan B – a morning-after pill – to DaBaby’s home due to the couple having unprotected sex.
