IVE Leeseo Goes Viral Following Music Show Performance

IVE is proving themselves to be one of the hottest rookie groups at the moment. Besides the popularity brought about by the two former IZ*ONE members, Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin, the other members are all gaining attention for their stunning visuals and young age.

On December 5, IVE performed their comeback song "ELEVEN" on SBS's music program "Inkigayo." The member stunned viewers with their skills and facial expressions, but the member who caught the most attention was Leeseo.

During the times Leeseo was in the center, the camera would zoom in close to her face. Though it may have been difficult for the rookie idol to have the camera so close to her face, IVE's maknae handled it skillfully, confidently posing in front of the camera. Leeseo showed off her professional and lovely aura as she performed.

While the performance of the video has garnered over 606,000 views on YouTube, a user has clipped the parts where the cameraman zooms in to Leeseo's face and uploaded it to the platform. That video has accumulated over 1.8 million views as of the time of writing.

Screenshots from the performance have made their rounds. One particular screenshot of Leeseo shows her face zoomed in, her eyes widening, and her lips slightly pursed as she sings. Many wondered why the cameraman would move into her face so closely, while others applauded the idol for still performing to the best of her abilities. Others complimented her visuals, saying she still looked cute despite the angle.

Some of the comments concerning Leeseo's zoom-in moment include, "Baby Leeseo is so cute!" "I couldn't help but watch and laugh because of how cute she is," "Leeseo's onstage vibe is better than I thought," "2007 liner, but her attitude is no joke," and "IVE seems to be getting a lot of attention from Koreans. Searching through YouTube, clips from their performances have very high views, and there are lots of Korean comments."

IVE Recent Activities

On November 15, Starship Entertainment released a video series called "Show What I Have" on IVE's official YouTube channel. There, each member introduced themselves, starting with Yujin, then Rei, Leeseo, Liz, Gaeul, and Wonyoung.

IVE made their official debut on December 1, 2021, with their debut single album "ELEVEN." IVE held a face-to-face showcase on their debut day to celebrate the group's debut. The showcase was live-streamed to IVE's official YouTube channel.
