Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has confirmed the full details of Fiz Stape and Tyrone Dobbs's Christmas storyline.

The former couple have been tipped as ones to watch in this year's hour-long festive episode, as unresolved feelings rise to the surface for Tyrone (Alan Halsall) once again.

Tyrone is currently preparing himself for a sad Christmas, as he's expecting to spend the holiday season apart from his daughters Hope (Isabella Flanagan) and Ruby (Macy Alabi).

Fiz's new partner Phill Whittaker (Jamie Kenna) has arranged for them both to go on holiday over Christmas, taking Hope and Ruby with them – a decision that Tyrone gave his blessing to.

On December 25, Tyrone teams up with his grandmother Evelyn Plummer (Dame Maureen Lipman) to prepare Christmas dinner for two.

Suddenly though, they're interrupted by the arrival of Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) with the girls.

Tyrone is delighted to realise that Fiz cancelled the holiday and will be staying put on the cobbles.

The only setback is that Tyrone will now have to spend the day with Phill.

Corrie fans can expect dramas big and small on the day, including one involving a rescued pigeon.

Phill must also pay a visit to his bossy mum Mimi (Margot Leicester), who has been causing a stir in recent episodes.

Everything comes to a head when Tyrone misjudges things with Fiz by going in for a kiss with her.

Will Fiz respond, or has Tyrone got carried away? Plus, how will Phill react if he finds out what happened?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Christmas Day at 8pm on ITV.
