The Los Angeles Lakers just can't seem to catch a break in terms of injuries. Kendrick Nunn and Trevor Ariza still have not made their debuts in the 2021 season and it doesn't look like it is going to happen anytime soon.

Michael Corvo of ClutchPoints reported that Frank Vogel had this to say,

“Kendrick Nunn (knee bone bruise) is unlikely to make his Lakers debut before the New Year”

Trevor Ariza “participated in live-action for the first time in scrimmage play” on Monday. “Still looks like he has a ways to go to get his legs under him.” Vogel said the Lakers will wait until he's “all the way back” before putting him in games.”

This is not good for the Lakers as they want to get everybody back and healthy to form some chemistry before the playoffs. They are already nearly 25 games into the regular season and with how disappointing they have played this year, they're going to want to get things going to start playing the way many know they can.

It has been nothing short of a disappointing season for the Lakers so far this season as they sit at 12-12. Many of the reasoning for the Lakers' struggle can be put on their lack of staying healthy. This was a concern coming into the season for the Lakers as many of their players are at the back ends of their careers and have dealt with some injuries before.

Once the Lakers can get fully healthy, they're going to be one of the best teams in the NBA and will look to win an NBA title.
