The Los Angeles Chargers seem to have avoided some troubling injury news resulting from their Week 13 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. According to NFL.com's Taylor Bisciotti, star defensive end Joey Bosa is considered day to day after suffering a head injury on Sunday, but he is expected to practice with the team on Wednesday.

Bosa left early on in Sunday's game after injuring his head and entering concussion protocols. Despite being cleared of having a concussion, head coach Brandon Staley opted to keep Bosa on the sideline in order to protect his health. Bosa has dealt with concussions in the past, so Staley wasn't willing to risk further damage. That decision seems to have paid off in the short term, too, as the Chargers got the win on Sunday and Bosa seems likely to be ready to play in Week 14.

Bisciotti also noted that star running back Austin Ekeler was expected to be ready to practice on Wednesday. While there was no official injury designation for Ekeler, the announcers during Sunday's broadcast mentioned the Chargers' running back was seen limping off the field after the game, so there was some concern among Chargers fans.

Regardless of whether Ekeler was or wasn't dealing with an injury, Bisciotti's update from the team suggests it's nothing to worry about. What's more concerning from Ekeler was his performance on Sunday. Despite scoring a rushing touchdown in his 59-yard outing, the Chargers running back fumbled the ball twice, allowing the Bengals to claw back into the game.
