Epic Games has recently released a new chapter in Fortnite Battle Royale! Chapter 3 has brought many new amazing things, including the new map, new weapons and items, and new mechanics. Even though it has been out for just over one day, leakers have already revealed future plans for the game!
According to the leaks, there will be many Fortnite map changes in the near future. The game developer will keep changing the map periodically, just like it was the case in the previous seasons. However, this time, there will be some surprises that will come with the map changes!
Fortnite map changes will reveal new spots, including OG ones
Fortnite Chapter 3 map has brought back some of the OG spots, such as Greasy Grove. However, it turns out that more OG places are covered by snow! Most importantly, Tilted Towers is going to make a return. Many players have spotted this popular place when the map was being revealed. Furthermore, leaked week 8 challenges show that players will have to get an elimination in Tilted Towers.
As you can see in the leaked image above, the snow will completely disappear. This will most likely happen by week 8, so we can expect this version of the map to be active around late January. At the moment, only the minimap has been leaked. However, it’s just a matter of time before we get more details.
It seems that Epic is planning to release weekly or bi-weekly Fortnite map changes once again. This is definitely a positive thing as the new island will feel fresh and exciting for a longer time!
New weapons are coming too
Epic Games vaulted all of the Chapter 2 weapons with the start of the new chapter. This is the first time that the SCAR has been removed from the game, which is very unusual. However, the game developer has replaced the old weapons with new ones, making a major overhaul to the loot pool.
While players are still getting used to the new weapons, leakers have revealed future updates. It turns out that a Mythic version of the Striker Pump Shotgun and the Sidearm Pistol will be released to the game. There is also data for the Mythic Auto Shotgun! With the future Fortnite map changes and weapon additions, it looks like this is going to be a very interesting season until its very end.
