This is a very exciting week for Call of Duty: Warzone players! There is a lot of new content coming soon and players have a chance to witness a unique event. The best part? A new Warzone map is right around the corner and it is going to be very exciting!
Warzone has been out for more than a year and a half and has established itself as one of the top battle royale games. However, many players have been asking for a new map, and it’s finally coming to the game. The Warzone developer found an interesting way of introducing players to it as it’s done with an event!
New Warzone map is coming very soon
Call of Duty: Vanguard was released in early November 2021. Many players are still enjoying the game and its modes, but are waiting for the Warzone integration. Warzone players have already witnessed a transition from Modern Warfare to Black Ops Cold War. The battle royale title was integrated into the Black Ops game and it received a lot of new content.
The same thing is going to happen with the future update that’s coming soon. Call of Duty: Warzone will get new content, including a new map. While this is definitely a step in the right direction, there is no doubt players will need to get used to it. After all, Verdansk has been in the game for so long that it will take weeks to properly learn the new map and all of its locations.
Caldera, the new Warzone map, is coming out on December 8 at midnight Eastern Time. Players who own Call of Duty: Vanguard will get access to the new map on December 8 at 1 PM Eastern Time. In the meantime, players can participate in the event and become last victors of Verdansk!
The competition is tough
Apex Legend and Fortnite Battle Royale have been both pulling incredible numbers lately. On top of that, Epic Games has just released a new Fortnite chapter! With Warzone falling behind its two main competitors, this update could be crucial in determining its fate.
If the new map is good and players enjoy it, we could easily see a big increase in both players and viewers on streaming websites. Hopefully, we will get a lot of good and enjoyable content!
