EastEnders spoilers ahead
EastEnders' Kim Fox actress Tameka Empson warns there's a storm on the horizon for her character and sister Denise.
In scenes set to air later this month, the former will make a startling discovery regarding her late husband Vincent Hubbard, who Denise (Diane Parish) knew was murdered but stayed silent after being bought off by Phil Mitchell, the father of her son.
Teasing the colossal rift this will cause between the siblings, Empson told Inside Soap: "It most definitely could shatter their relationship. They've had fights before, yet the thing that's always brought that back is that they are Foxs.

"However, Denise knew and she chose not to tell Kim, and that's something she might not ever be able to forgive wholeheartedly."
On the difference between shooting these row scenes and previous ones, she explained: "These were different because we'd normally start laughing straight after, but all the crying and grieving Kim's been doing takes you to a different place.
"It's nice to be working with someone you really trust so that you can really go for it. I can't speak highly enough of Diane – she is a big sister and mentor to me. But she doesn't think she's funny and she is! I think she does comedy really well."

Empson also shared her hopes of a turnaround in fortune for her character after a particularly hard-hitting period.
"I like the drama, and it's good to show I can do other things. But it's tiring when you have to cry all the time – and especially on cold, dark winter days," she admitted. "Getting back to some laughter would be nice."
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
