Ravens Pro Bowl CB Marlon Humphrey out for season with torn pectoral

The hits just keep on coming for the Baltimore Ravens secondary.

The AFC North juggernaut is expected to be without Marlon Humphrey for the rest of the season after the All-Pro cornerback sustained an injury in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Humphrey was believed to have torn a pectoral muscle. 

Coach John Harbaugh confirmed the diagnosis.

Losing Humphrey for the rest of the season is yet another blow to the Ravens' injury-riddled defensive corps. Cornerback Marcus Peters went down with a knee injury at the start of the season, and strong safety DeShon Elliott sustained a torn pec and torn biceps in Week 9. 

Baltimore fell to Pittsburgh 20-19 on Sunday after the Ravens failed to capitalize on a two-point conversion. When asked post-game about his decision not to go for the PAT to force overtime, Harbaugh said the mounting injuries to the secondary affected his decision-making.

"We were pretty much out of corners at that point in time," Harbaugh said, via ESPN. "It was an opportunity to try to win the game right there."
