The University of South Alabama will hold its Fall 2021 commencement ceremonies Friday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the USA Mitchell Center.
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey will deliver the commencement speech Saturday. Participating colleges include College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and Professional Studies, College of Engineering, College of Medicine, Mitchell College of Business and School of Computing.
There will be no media availability with Governor Ivey but outlets are welcome to record the ceremonies.
Friday, the University will celebrate the achievements of graduates from the College of Nursing and the Pat Capps Covey College of Allied Health Professions. Owen Bailey, USA Health chief executive officer and senior vice president for medical affairs will be the commencement speaker.
The University of South Alabama continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, there is no limit to the number of guests graduates may invite to commencement.
