The new district boundaries under a seven-member Ashland City Council.
Many Ashland residents and their elected representatives will find themselves in new districts as the city shrinks from 11 to seven city council seats as part of a redistricting plan.
Redistricting is done every 10 years using data collected by the U.S. Census that’s used to create boundaries that are similar in population to satisfy constitutional requirements.
