Soaps veteran Ingo Rademacher, who was recently fired from General Hospital (GH) for declining to comply with ABC’s health mandate, has spoken out about his exit from the show for the first time on Instagram.
While the video primarily focused on thanking his fans, as well as recent followers who are supporting his stance on health mandates, Rademacher couldn’t help but comment on his co-star Nancy Lee Grahn within the opening seconds.
“This is my official video to say that I’m no longer on the show,” Rademacher began. “Which I never got a chance to do because Nancy [Lee Grahn] announced it to everyone on Twitter, saying that I was ‘mercifully’ no longer on the show.”
“[Grahn announcing it] was a huge disappointment to me,” the actor continued. “After working with someone for 25 years, you would think that they would show a little bit more respect, and have a little bit more integrity, and allow me to make that announcement to the fans.”

“I will have more to say about Nancy later on,” Rademacher summed up, hinting that he’ll have a future Instagram video or post dedicated to his former co-star. The Australian actor previously sounded off on GH fans who had called for his firing.
In the meantime, he thanked his fans and acknowledged that he was still “trying to process” the fact that he would no longer portray Jasper “Jax” Jacks, the role he’d maintained for over 25 years.
“This is about thanking you guys, the fans of the show, and also the General Hospital crew and cast,” Rademacher said. “They’re like my family, a lot of the people there, and I was really hoping I could play Jax for another ten or twenty-five years. And unfortunately, that’s not going to happen… obviously.”
For the remainder of the three-and-a-half minute long video, Rademacher doubled-down on his stance regarding health mandates and personal freedoms.
