1 person died after a motorcycle accident in Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

On early Sunday morning, one person was killed following a two-vehicle accident in Las Vegas.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 5:23 AM near Rancho Drive and Craig Road. The preliminary investigation showed that a red 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 600 was heading west on Craig, approaching Rancho while a 2002 Ford Ranger was going south on Rancho, approaching Craig.

The motorcycle reportedly disregarded a red light, entered the intersection, and crashed into the Ford. The 33-year-old motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and was rushed to UMC Trauma, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Ford stayed at the scene and remained uninjured. Impairment is not suspected to be a factor in the accident. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
