One person killed in Route 30 crash in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County

Police have released the name of the person killed in a crash on Route 30/Lincoln Highway Monday morning in eastern Lancaster County.
The crash happened around 7:40 a.m. in East Lampeter Township near Leven Road.
The victim has been identified as Tyeanna Monae Morris, 24, of Hummelstown.
Crash details
Police said Morris was driving a Ford Escape westbound, when "for unknown reasons," the vehicle crossed over into the opposite lane, where it was struck by an eastbound tractor-trailer.
After the impact, the truck veered of the road and hit a utility pole and embankment. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
Morris and a passenger, Tyjmere Edwards, 22, of Philadelphia, were both trapped in the damaged SUV. Members of the Ronks Fire Company had to extract them.

Morris and Edwards were both taken to Lancaster General Hospital. Morris was later pronounced deceased. Edwards was listed in stable condition.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.
The crash is under investigation. Anyone who may have information is asked to call East Lampeter Township police.
