Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Sam Dingle starts to fear for his marriage tonight (December 6) after his recent tensions with Lydia.
Sam (James Hooton) has given Lydia a tough time over the past few days after she broke the "Dingle code" by reporting Liv Flaherty to the police.
The trouble began when Lydia became aware of the various clues which appeared to suggest Liv was responsible for Ben Tucker's murder.
Although Lydia didn't genuinely believe that Liv was guilty, she felt that it was important for the police to know all of the relevant information.

Lydia ultimately decided to tell the police what she knew, but then faced a backlash from the Dingles – with Sam refusing to even speak to her.
In Monday night's episode, the tables start to turn on Sam as he regrets his angry behaviour.
Sam is distraught to think that he might have lost Lydia for good by behaving so harshly towards her.
This paves the way for a big storyline airing over the next few weeks and in Emmerdale's Christmas episodes, as Sam will be forced to put up a fight for his marriage.

An Emmerdale spokesperson recently teased: "Christmas Day at the Dingles' is usually a happy family celebration, but recently divisions have formed in this clan.
"With Sam desperate to make things better, can he reunite them at this time?"
In the coming days, Lydia stays with Marlon and Rhona, and is seemingly in no rush to give Sam another chance. It seems that the ball will be firmly in her court when it comes to their future.
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
