Choi Beomgyu, commonly known as Beomgyu, is the fifth and last member of Big Hit Music's latest boy group TX who was revealed ahead of the band's debut. He is the visual, center and one of the vocalists and rappers of the group.
Starting from January this year, TXT has been busy promoting their new albums both in South Korea and Japan. They even promoted their first English song "Magic" in the United States by appearing on local popular television shows.

In January, Beomgyu together with his fellow TXT members dropped their debut Japanese studio album "Still Dreaming," which features the song "Force" that was chosen to be the opening theme for the second season of the anime "World Trigger."
Due to the boy group's popularity in Japan, "Still Dreaming" debuted and peaked at No. 1 on the country's Oricon Album Chart and earned a gold certification from RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan) for selling 100,000 units.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER then made history as the second Korean band to chart a Japanese album on Billboard 200, following their senior group BTS. "Still Dreaming" entered the chart at No. 173.

On March 6, Big Hit's boy group held a face-to-face fanmeet, titled "TXT FANLIVE SHINE X TOGETHER," which was also livestreamed via VenewLive. The tickets cost 45,000 won for the general audience and 35,000 won for the fan club members
TXT Beomgyu's net worth continued to go up after the boy group made a comeback in Korea with their second studio album in May, entitled "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," which is their first ever half-million-selling album.
Featuring the title song "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)," TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" surpassed 500,000 copies in four days of release. It went on to sell over 630,000 copies in the first week.
In August, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's second studio album received triple-platinum certification from KMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association) for selling 750,000 copies in South Korea. It was also certified gold by RIAJ, indicating 100,000 shipments.
Moreover, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" scored TXT's highest rank on Billboard 200, debuting at No. 5 on the tally. It also became the quintet's fourth consecutive No. 1 album on the Oricon Chart.

On Aug. 17, TXT made another comeback in Korea, this time with their first repackaged album, "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE." This work sold more than 483,000 copies in the first week, the third-highest first-week sales figure of any repackaged album in the history of the Hanteo Chart.

The boy group's latest release so far is their first Japanese EP "Chaotic Wonderland," which came out on Nov. 10. It contains four songs including the original Japanese track "Ito." So far, over 184,000 copies of the album have been sold in Japan.
Besides releasing new albums and EPs, Beomgyu also took part in TXT's first full-length concert since their debut, titled "ACT:BOY" this past October. The event ran for almost two and a half hours and was watched by fans from 126 countries.
