The 29-year-old came into Sunday with only one goal and one helper through 17 games, but he doubled his point total on the year by helping set up tallies by Nick Bonino and Brent Burns. Nieto has never had more than 26 points in a season, and his checking-line role won't afford him many more opportunities to make this kind of scoring impact.
