There are few northeast Ohio bands more fun than the Chardon Polka Band who bring a youthful, contemporary to that classic Cleveland sound: polka. And they bring the infectious vivacity of polka to pop tunes as well as — in the case of their Polka Night Before Christmas shows — familiar, beloved Christmas carols such as “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Deck the Halls,” and their own version of the popular holiday poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” by Clement Moore. They’ve even got a Christmas album titled Polka ’Round the Christmas Tree in their catalogue.
They’re bringing Polka Night Before Christmas back to the Music Box Supper Club for a fun-filled show Friday December 10. They’ll also be providing music for a pair of Christmas Brunches with Santa and Krampus on Sunday December 12 @ 11am & 3pm. Tickets for each of the shows is $20. Brunch is extra; also, you must make a table reservation if you want to eat. (Food is available Friday night as well). And on Friday night you can wear your pajamas!
