Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins was among the NY Giants’ most disappointing of the season, with plenty of blame to go around

The NY Giants headed down to Miami, Florida to face off the Miami Dolphins, and while shorthanded, New York’s effort was lackluster.

Coming into the game Miami was 5-7 and New York was 4-7, but the Dolphins outclassed the Giants in all phases, en route to a 20-9 win.

Giants quarterback Mike Glennon was 23-of-44, passing for 187 yards with one interception.

Meanwhile, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was 30-41, 244 yards, and threw two touchdowns.

Here are three people to blame for the NY Giants’ latest loss, to the Dolphins:

NY Giants QB Mike Glennon

The first person to blame for the loss against Miami is Glennon.

He is now 6-22 as a starter in his career. He was shaky and overwhelmed throughout the whole game.

Glennon completed his first eight passes, for only 59 yards. On the last series in the third quarter, wide receiver John Ross was wide open in the middle of the field and Glennon threw it three yards behind him. On consecutive plays, he held onto the ball for too long resulting in Jaelan Phillips getting two sacks. Head Coach Joe Judge said after the game that Glennon has a concussion.
