One person is dead following an early morning crash involving a motorcycle

Las Vegas (KSNV) —
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a crash that left one motorcyclist dead early Sunday morning.

It happened on December 5 at around 5:23 AM near Rancho Drive and Craig Road.
According to police, a red 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 600 was traveling west on Craig, approaching Rancho.

A 2002 Ford Ranger was traveling south on Rancho, approaching Craig.
The motorcycle then ran a red light and entered the intersection, colliding with the Ford.
The 33-year-old driver of the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries and was later taken to UMC Trauma, where he later died.
The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and did not sustain any injuries.
Impairment is not suspected.
