Demon Slayer Season 2: Who Is Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui?
Tengen Uzui was first introduced in the first season of Demon Slayer. In the episode Master of the House, Tanjiro Kamado is brought to the Hashiras to face judgement for travelling with a demon. Uzui is one of the first Hashiras who expressed his distrust of Nezuko and even offered to decapitate Tanjiro flamboyantly (but of course).
Although the Master of Demon Slayers and Giyu Tomioka stand by Tanjiro and Nezuko, the rest of the Hashiras are against the idea of working with a demon. Uzui is, as he flamboyantly states, flamboyantly opposed to Nezuko being considered a Demon Slayer. However, he later admits to being impressed with Tanjiro for landing a flamboyant blow on Sanemi Shinazugawa.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8: Will Tengen Uzui Becomes Tanjiro's Mentor?
There is little doubt that Tanjiro and his friends will finally get to meet Uzui formally in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8. But will the Sound Hashira be eager to work with Tanjiro and Nezuko right away? It might not happen as quickly as with Rengoku Kyojuro but Uzui will realize how strong his young companions are soon.
