Which Carolina Panthers players could be traded to acquire additional draft capital during what’s going to be another eventful offseason in 2022?

It already looks as if there are going to be plenty of big decisions for the Carolina Panthers to make this offseason. A large number of established figures within the locker room are on the lookout for new deals, with some problem positional groups also needing a substantial upgrade if the organization wants to take a giant leap in Year 3 of Matt Rhule’s tenure.

The Panthers have a lot of talent. So for them to be 5-7 at their bye week can be classed as disappointing – especially considering they started the campaign at 3-0 before things took a swift and concerning downward slide.

The onus will be on general manager Scott Fitterer to put a plan in place alongside Rhule and team owner David Tepper, which is going to come with some huge ramifications.

Carolina doesn’t have a Day 2 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft to speak of after trading for Sam Darnold and C.J. Henderson, so it could see the franchise either move down the first-round or look to trade a veteran or two in pursuit of acquiring additional capital.

What transpires in their remaining five games will tell us plenty about which players can be relied upon and which should be nervously looking over their shoulders next spring. It’s also going to be a referendum of sorts for the likes of Rhule and offensive coordinator Joe Brady‘s time with the Panthers to date.

Without further ado, here are four Panthers players who could potentially be traded this offseason.
