A Clemson football fan who inexplicably showed up at the ACC Championship Game doesn’t seem to be having much fun. Maybe because his team isn’t there.

It’s generally fair to expect that the Clemson football team will be competing in the ACC Championship Game. Unfortunately for one particular Clemson football fan, that definitely didn’t happen this season.

The Tigers had an off year. 2021 wasn’t anywhere near as successful as what Clemson fans have grown accustomed to. Despite that, the Tigers were in the running to somehow make the ACC Championship until late into the season.

At 9-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play, Clemson came up short of making the conference title game.

Now, that particular fan seems less than thrilled to be attending an ACC Championship Game that doesn’t feature his favorite team.

Clemson football: Tigers fan shows up at ACC Championship Game that doesn’t involve Clemson

Between chilly weather, a lack of Tigers, and what has become an odd football game, it’s hard to blame this Clemson fan for not having a ton of fun. For a dude who is clearly invested in Clemson, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Pittsburgh Panthers aren’t exactly the teams this guy is interested in supporting.

This might be a case of someone buying tickets to the game too soon or it might just be a local guy who loves college football. It’s hard to tell.

What is easy to tell is that this guy would rather be watching his favorite team play.
