Netflix's Resident Evil Series Reveals First Teaser and Logo

It has been a while since we got any updates on the live-action Resident Evil series that will air on Netflix. Luckily, we got some news on the new show based on the Capcom game. The first teaser from the upcoming series has just been unveiled and although it doesn't show much, it does give us our first glimpse at the official logo.

The first teaser for the Resident Evil series has been shared on Twitter and it's a very brief one. The footage only shows a seemingly normal dog that turns out to be one of the zombie dogs that has always terrified gamers.

The teaser concludes by flashing the Resident Evil logo. Again, we don't see a lot here but it's comforting to know that there is an update on the Netflix series.

The last update we got from the Resident Evil series was during the Netflix Geeked Week when Lance Reddick shared the first official photo of the cast. Reddick confirmed that he will play Albert Wesker. However, the characters that Adeline Rudolph, Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, and Paola Nunez will be playing have not yet been revealed.

The still-untitled Resident Evil series will be set in two timelines. In the first one, the story follows Jade and Billie Wesker as they move to New Raccoon City and discover strange things happening in the town. In the second timeline, we reunite with Jade as she tries to survive in the world overrun by zombies while also struggling with what happened to her father, sister, and herself more than a decade ago.

The Resident Evil series has not yet been given an official title nor a release date. However, the show is expected to air on Netflix soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
