The U.S. Postal Service advises residents to mail packages to be delivered via ground mail no later than Dec. 15 to ensure delivery before Dec. 25.

First class mail service, which includes cards, should be sent no later than Dec. 15, and priority mail by Dec. 18, according to the Postal Service website.

So far, the Loveland post offices have begun to see an influx of packages in their facilities, but Postmaster Chad Daniel said that with extra package sorters locally and across the nation, he doesn’t expect any holiday delays.

“We are amped up this year,” Daniel said. “I don’t see any problems with any delays.”
