Virgin River fans are going through a bit of withdrawal given the romantic Netflix original series has commonly debuted new seasons around the holidays. Because the show surprised fans with an early release of the third season, back in July 2021, however, the fourth season won't be on our screens for some time. While the exact release date has yet to be released, Virgin River actor Martin Henderson (who plays Jack Sheridan) graced his followers with some very exciting news to be grateful for on Thanksgiving and beyond.
“Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Pretending it’s always warm in Virgin River. 1 week of shooting season 4 left…hope you all enjoy it when it drops,” he captioned a photo of himself and actress Alexandra Breckenridge (who plays Mel Monroe).
Naturally, fans are hoping and praying for that drop to be sooner than later, but, in the meantime, also took the chance to shower Martin and Mel in love and gratitude. “We look forward to next season,” one fan wrote. “Can’t wait to see Season 4,” another fan commented. “This is such a BEAUTIFUL pic of you and Alex!!! Happy Thanksgiving to both of you. Thank you for working sooo hard for all of us fans!! Love you guys,” another fan exclaimed.
While filming for season 4 has just about ended at this point, if the season 3 release has anything to show, it’s that the new season may not debut until July 2022. That said, assuming that it won’t take seven months to edit, perhaps fans can anticipate an earlier release date. Fingers crossed!
