EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders' Mick Carter will have his loyalty tested over the festive season, when Janine Butcher sets her sights on him.
Janine (Charlie Brooks) has struck up a surprise friendship with Mick in recent episodes, in his wife Linda's absence.
The pair worked together to overrule Peter Beale in order to sponsor the Square's Christmas tree, and their teamwork will be continuing through the Christmas period.

Janine then provocatively dresses up as Santa's Little Helper but fails to get Mick's attention, much to Nancy's amusement.
Janine faces a further setback when Kat tells her that Scarlett will be spending Christmas with the Slaters.

Refusing to let this deter her plans for Mick, Janine dresses up as Mrs Claus on Christmas Day and enlists Ollie's help to make it a perfect day for Scarlett.
Fans will have to wait and see what Janine has in store, but her focus is well and truly on Mick in the lead-up to New Year as well.
Trying to get Mick to herself, Janine schemes and convinces Zack that Nancy still likes him and he should ask her out.
When she later sees Mick struggling, Janine quickly puts two and two together and realises why.
As Mick's thoughts turn to his relationship with Linda, Janine's scheming knows no bounds and she begins to put her latest plan into action.
When Billy mentions Linda's alcoholism, Janine's mind whirs – but what is she planning now? And with Nancy growing increasingly frustrated, could Mick be forced to make a difficult decision?
