Finally, the game for which many have waited has arrived.

No. 1 Georgia (12-0, 8-0 SEC) will face No. 2 Alabama (11-1, 7-1 SEC) at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. The matchup will be broadcast on CBS.

In some ways, the Crimson Tide's playoffs start his week. Win and Alabama is all but assured to have the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. Lose, and the path becomes much more difficult. Not impossible, but much more unlikely.

No two-loss team has ever made the CFP before.
