Iron-Man Tour To Officiate Talladega Ice Bowl

SOMERSET, Ky. – Officials from the Talladega Short Track have confirmed that representatives from the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series and CT Promotions will oversee the super late model portion of the 31st annual Ice Bowl.

The Ice Bowl at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., is scheduled to take place on Jan. 6-8. 

The super late model portion of the 31st annual Ice Bowl will be officiated by the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series and CT Promotions and will be contested under their series rules and regulations.  

The super late models will time trial and heat race on Friday Jan. 7, with B-Mains and the 50-lap, $6,000-to-win/$500-to-win 31st annual Ice Bowl main event on Saturday, Jan. 8.  

The tire rule for super late models for the 31st annual Ice Bowl will be as follows: Hoosier 1350, Hoosier 1600, and Hoosier D70 (right rear option). The series will also be taking tire samples throughout the weekend and there is no droop rule. The entry fee for the event is $100. 

Other divisions in action at the 31st annual Ice Bowl will include Crate Racin’ USA Late Model 604 Crates, TST Sportsman/Limited Late Models, Crate Racin’ USA Street Stocks, Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman 602, Factory Stocks/Pure Stocks, and Hot Shots/Buzz Jonathan “Mr. NASCAR” Merritt Memorial.
