Every Time I Die Cancel Two Shows

Every Time I Die have canceled the last two remaining shows of their current tour. In a statement, the band says the cancelations are the result from a member of the tour’s support act, ’68, testing positive for COVID-19.

The statement, which you can read below, also says that the band still plans to play their upcoming “‘TID the Season” holiday shows.

The affected shows were scheduled to take place in Richmond and Virginia Beach, VA, respectively.

The news arrives less than a day after Every Time I Die announced that frontman Keith Buckley would be stepping away from the tour to focus on mental health issues. The band said at that time that they planned to play these shows as a four-piece.

Just hours later, however, Buckely issued a statement of his own, claiming that the band had “ostracized” him since he gave up drinking, and alleging that he’d overheard his brother, guitarist Jordan Buckley, discussing plans to have the vocalist replaced.

Notably, ETID’s initial statement, about Buckley’s mental health, has now been deleted from their social media accounts… but Buckley has not deleted his statement regarding the band’s internal strife.

The “‘TID the Season” shows are scheduled to take place December 10 and 11 in the band’s hometown of Buffalo, NY. The group is also scheduled to support Underoath on tour next year. Dates are as follows:
