Jennifer Lopez has a new song out called “On My Way,” from the upcoming movie Marry Me co-starring Owen Wilson. The former World of Dance judge just released a music video to go along with the romantic track, featuring some seriously glamorous looks.

Jennifer Lopez Releases ‘On My Way’ Music Video

“Every heartbreak was a yellow brick road / Pointing me straight, just taking me home,” Lopez sings in the new song. “I was never lost, I was just passing through / I was on my way to you.”

In the new music video, the former American Idol judge performs the track in front of various backdrops. In one, she stands against a city skyline. In another, the lyrics from the song appear handwritten around her. Occasionally, shots from the movie Marry Me appear.

The singer wears a sparkly black suit and an elaborate cream-colored gown during the clip. The song starts out quiet and tender, before becoming bigger and poppier as Lopez starts to belt out the lyrics to a heart-pounding beat.

What Is Lopez’s New Movie ‘Marry Me’ About?

Marry Me is an upcoming romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson, based on a graphic novel by Bobby Crosby. It was directed by Kat Coiro and will be released on February 11, 2022. The film co-stars Maluma, Sarah Silverman, and John Bradley.

The movie tells the story of Kat Valdez (Lopez), a pop star who finds out her fiancé Bastian (Maluma) is cheating on her. So she decides to marry a concertgoer named Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson) who accidentally holds a “Marry Me” sign in the crowd.

The pair gets married on stage and has to deal with the aftermath of their rash decision. Of course, they end up falling in love for real, because this is a fluffy Valentine’s Day movie we’re talking about. We don’t get to see a lot of romantic comedies on the big screen these days, but this one actually looks kind of fun.
