Injured teen gets support in Como

The community of Como, Texas is coming together to support seventeen year old resident Koby Crump and his father Kenny after a tragic accident left Koby gravely injured Sunday, Nov. 28.

Koby is an active member of the community, a volunteer fireman, and a junior at Como-Pickton High School.

Koby was transported to Parkland Hospital where he had surgery for the injury to his spine and according to doctors has a long road ahead of him.

The community is hosting a fundraiser Saturday, Dec 4 starting at 10 a.m. at the Como Burgers and Fries in the form of a Community Bake Sale.

Donations can be mailed to Koby Crump, care of the Como Mobile Pantry, P.O. Box 265, Como, Texas 75431 to help cover medical and transportation expenses.
