San Francisco, CA – The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns faced each other twice in the past week. Chris Paul and the Suns took the first game with Stephen Curry and the Warriors snagging the second. When looking at these two teams, you're seeing two of the NBA's best teams and two of the best point guards ever to play the game.

Paul is a few years older than Curry, and remembers when he knew Curry wasn't the same as most NBA players. He knew Curry was different, and he remembers when he realized that.

“A long time ago. Steph went on a family vacation with my family to Orlando, so we could work out…It's not just the shooting. It's the handle…He just kept getting better and better. I'm not shocked,” the Suns veteran told ClutchPoints about the Warriors superstar.

Stephen Curry caught the attention of other stars at a young age also. LeBron James was a player who followed Curry ever since his collegiate days at Davidson. Since then, Curry has turned into a mega superstar. Some expected it, but others didn't see this coming.

Paul knew this version of Curry was on the way. Now year's later, the same person who wanted to work out with him in the summer is the same guy who might be standing in the way of Paul winning his first championship.

The next time these two teams will meet is on Christmas Day. The Suns will likely have Devin Booker back on the floor, and the Warriors could potentially have Klay Thompson and James Wiseman active.
