Halo Infinite is getting more variety in the multiplayer modes as the devs are adding more content for everyone to try out.

Halo Infinite has generally received positive reviews from players and critics alike, with praises extending to pretty much everything except the horrendous monetisation. The devs are now looking to keep the momentum up as they announced they will be adding three new game modes by the end of 2022.

There is no exact release date but 343 confirmed it won't be before December 8 so at least that narrows it down to three weeks. The three new game modes are Fiesta, Tactical Slayer and Free For All. As you probably concluded already, all of these game modes are variations of Deathmatch and there is a reason for this as well.

According to the Twitter post, the devs are looking to oblige the player requests to choose a single game mode, as opposed to playing Deathmatch in one game and Capture the Flag in the next.

Therefore, the three additional modes seem to be Limited-Time entries at first and 343 will use this initial period to test them out before deciding whether they should join the official playlists in the future.

On the topic of choosing your own game mode, the devs have Social Slayer playlist in the pipeline. This one will let players go for variations of Deathmatch at all times and avoid modes with objectives that aren't merely about shooting up the enemy.
