"You are just like us. You would make a good Dalek."
Will Jodie hold that kind of power?
"Just how powerful do you think I am?" she asked Tecteun, to which there was no reply...
Timelord fob watches have been used before, sometimes to devastating effect. This has the potential to be really scary so lets see if it/that pans out that way.
LadyofTraken is the designated thread maker for official episode threads. This was decided by a large section of forum members and was due to the chaos of several posters trying to one-up each other to be the one creating a particular episode thread in any given week. And LoT does a very good job.

I'd like to note and state that this is a public forum not owned by anyone.
I wasn’t part of this decision making process but it does seem like a shame. These threads to my knowledge are not usually posted until the morning of the episode.

Its a public forum so what do Whovinites expect me to do as a member of a public forum? Pat my head and say 'play nice'?
This is a community space. Yes, people play nice here, or they try to as per forum rules. I don't know why you'd think otherwise? I started the thread for episode one because Lady had been absent from the forums for some time and there was some uncertainty, but I clearly stated that Lady should continue making the threads if she was up to it, to which she kindly responded.
My earlier post in this thread was intended just to inform you of the situation and how it arose. If you weren't here when all the trouble started, you had several posters trying to create episode thread a week or more in advance of the episode airing, multiple threads at once, bickering etc. Having Lady (who is very good at what she does) create the threads negates the whole "wow look at me I made the thread" level of pettiness the forum descended into.
Threads have been created and poll options given in a standard way for people who want to vote on how they rated an episode of Flux. Sure it's a free universe but that has worked pretty well.
Also, there is a standard format, standard voting options, and not to be created till Sunday.
Did the Mods create that rule?
The community decided these rules, and they've worked for a number of years now. It was decided that creating the thread wasn't much of an "honour" worth bothering about especially with the chaos that it was causing. Lady was nominated because her threads were thought of as the best examples of what an episode thread should be; containing all the information on the episode, synopsis, cast list etc and behind the scenes links and bonus content. She accepted that role and continues to do it because it avoids the arguments over who gets to do the thread. My own thread for episode one was a stop-gap, though I followed the usual format (poll notwithstanding as the process to add a poll has changed in the years since I last created a thread that had one!)
I like the Timeless child story line. Its cool. And, not to be obstropolous, yet again I feel the need to state this is a public forum. I see no chaos, other than whats on the DW screen of course.

"This is a public forum" is an interesting argument to make in this case. Whilst true, I feel I should point out that forums are a place of community, hence the agreed procedure for creating episode threads. Acting individually with little regard for the rest of the community is regrettable if done in ignorance with no intended malice, but ill advised if done deliberately or with malice.

I was not aware. Nor do the forum rules need me to be. Sorry if thats harsh, but its true.

Never have I stated that you had to be aware, but I and others have been courteous in letting you know the situation. It's understandable that you're feeling on the defensive but it honestly isn't necessary. There's no hostility intended at all.

Genuinely thanks. If you wish to request this thread be deleted then please do so. I haven't attached a poll after all, as I don't know how to do that.
LadyOfTraken uses a different discussion title format, so the solution is simple, just let her create another one tomorrow morning with an additional poll, like she normally does. Forum Members will vote with their discussion posts.
Maybe they should make LadyOfTraken an honorary moderator.
I agree with keyInferno on one thing though. Forum members are free to post what they like, wherever they like, as long as it complies with the rules of the forum. I would recommend searching before creating a discussion, as I often find someone else has already created one I can use.

I believe you started one?

If I wanted to be the one who made these threads ans then it was pointed out there was a regular slot in place for that, hard lines to me.
As I said, I think it’s a shame.

I'm joking. In this universe, anyway.

Well, that explains everything!
Brill!
