Anna Pirozzi, Arturo Chacón-Cruz Headline Concert Performance of ‘I Due Foscari’ in Paris

La Salle Gaveau in Paris has announced an upcoming concert performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s “I Due Foscari.”

The opera will star Plácido Domingo in the role of Francesco Foscari, Anna Pirozzi as Lucrezia Contarini, Arturo Chacón-Cruz in the role of Jacopo Foscari, and Emanuele Cordaro as Loredano. Mathieu Herzog will conduct the Ensemble Appasionato.

La Salle Gaveau has a 115-year history during which it has hosted some of the greatest names in the world of opera and classical music. During the 2021-22 season, the venue has presented concerts with such artists as Roberto Alagna, Béatrice Uria Monzon, Karine Deshayes, Franco Fagioli, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Lea Desandre, Nadine Sierra, Olga Peretyatko, Valentina Nafornița, Lawrence Brownlee, Patrizia Ciofi, Michèle Losier, Adèle Charvet, and Charles Castronovo, among others.

The performance of the early Verdi classic will take place on Feb. 12, 2022 at 8:30 p.m. CET.
