GOALKEEPER - Kennedy Mweene 

The in-form right-back was in great form against Sekhukhune and he was named Man of the Match.Mudau is likely to be up against the troublesome Junior Mendieta, who has established himself as Stellies' chief orchestrator.

RIGHT-BACK - Khuliso Mudau

The former Bloemfontein Celtic star has reclaimed his place in Downs' starting line-up after dethroning Divine Lunga.Lakay's combination with the exciting Neo Maema in the left hand side is blossoming.

LEFT-BACK - Lyle Lakay

The no-nonsense defender is the most reliable Sundowns centre-back at the moment.Downs co-head coaches Rhulani Mokwena and Manqoba Mngqithi will look to Kekana to stop Ashley Du Preez, who tends to bring his A game to big matches.

CENTRAL DEFENDER - Grant Kekana

The Ajax Cape Town academy product made his return from injury against Sekhukhune as a substitute.Coetzee brings good defensive skills and excellent passing ability to the midfield, which is something they were missing against SuperSport United last week.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Rivaldo Coetzee

The experienced midfilelder has been carrying Sundowns' midfield in the absence of Coetzee.Jali is likely to operate in a more advanced role in midfield having flourished in the position this season.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Andile Jali

The goalscoring midfielder is slowly regaining his old form having netted twice in his last four league games.Having reached double figures in each of the last two league seasons, Zwane will be keen to continue his scoring form.

ATTACKING MIDFIELDER - Themba Zwane 

The 26-year-old attacker has established himself as a key player for Downs and his form has kept Gaston Sirino on the bench.

LEFT FORWARD - Neo Maema 

The accomplished forward failed to score against Sekhukhune, but he did grab an assist when he set up Maema for the opening goal. Shalulile, who is the current PSL top scorer with nine goals, will be hungry for goals when he faces Stellenbosch.

RIGHT FORWARD - Peter Shalulile 

The Slovakian marksman continues to lead Downs' attack despite being unable to score goals regularly. However, Safranko has impressed with his hold up play and being able to combine well with his fellow attackers as the focal point of the attack.

CENTRE FORWARD - Pavol Safranko
