Holiday, Harrell and Bertans Get Three Technical Calls Seconds Apart

Wizards receive fury of technical foul calls seconds apart originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

It was a long Friday night for the Washington Wizards as they chased the Cleveland Cavaliers for most of the game.

At one point during the matchup, Wes Unseld Jr.'s team found themselves down by over 30 points and it was there when Washington showed visible signs of frustrations.

Late in the third quarter, following a shot made by Deni Avdija and already down 97-67, Aaron Holiday received the first technical after being upset after the official called a foul. Furthermore, Holiday was lucky not to get another after he waved his hands to the official following the technical.

However, in the holiday spirit of giving, the referee would also hand both Montrezl Harrell and Davis Bertans technical fouls seconds later due to the NBA official not liking what the two Wizards players had to say on the Holiday call.

Darius Garland would make both free throws as the Cavs went on to win 116-101. In total, four technical fouls were called against the Wizards in the game.
