Cyrus Family Animated Comedy In The Works With NBC
Tish Cyrus aka the manager for Miley Cyrus and founder of HopeTown Entertainment has signed a first-look deal with NBC Universal to develop an untitled animated series.
The Untitled Animation project, which HopeTown will produce alongside Shadow Machine and Bill Schultz, is created by Sivert Glarum & Michael Jamin (King of The Hill), the project was loosely inspired by the misadventures of the Cyrus family and has been described as a modern re-imagining of The Beverly Hillbillies. Tyler Hilton and Jaco Caraco will write original music for the series.
Our Take
Ok, but the only thing I’ll add here is that Michael Jamin has an excellent Instagram handle (@michaeljaminwriter) where he answers questions questions on show business from inspiring writers. I don’t know if this specific project of his comes to fruition, but if it does, I hope it doesn’t star Miley Cyrus. I’ve listened to her voice a lot over the years, and nowadays it sounds like she’s smoked every cigarette every produced.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
