Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson revealed a huge secret to his game. The fourth year quarterback is known for his quickness and agility. Jackson has countless game films of him juking out different defenses in the NFL. But how does he do it?

Think back to elementary school recess. Remember that kid that nobody could tag, no matter how hard they tried? That was Lamar Jackson.

According to Bleacher Report, he credits his uncoachable skills to young Lamar.

“I think my [skill] comes from playing tag, not wanting to get touched. It just transitioned over to football,” Jackson said.

This is coming from a super competitive guy, so it makes complete sense that his skills and competitive nature come from his past.

His drive to run the ball himself dates all the way back to his time as a high school quarterback. This led him to be labeled a dual-threat quarterback when he was being recruited for college. The Ravens star played three years of mobile quarterback for the University of Louisville before entering the NFL.

Since he was a kid, up until his current career with the Ravens, Jackson has been known for his speed. And apparently, without his former experience as a professional tag player, he wouldn't be as successful in the NFL as he is today.

Jackson's team is 8-3 and in first place in the AFC North after grabbing a win from the Browns in Week 12. The Ravens will look to increase their lead with a win against the Steelers this Sunday.
