Jessie Cave is PREGNANT! Harry Potter actress, 34, reveals she's expecting her FOURTH child with Alfie Brown, 30... 14 months after 'difficult' birth of son Abraham Benjamin

  • The star, who is best known for playing Lavender Brown in the franchise, took to Instagram on Friday to confirm she is set to add to her brood 
  • She shares Donnie, seven, Margot, four and Abraham, 14 months, with her partner, comedian Alfie Brown, who she has dated for seven years 
  • Jessie famously became pregnant with her first child after a one-night stand with Alfie in 2014 while they briefly split when Donnie was 10 weeks old 

Harry Potter actress Jessie Cave is expecting her fourth child. 

The star, who is best known for playing Lavender Brown in the franchise, took to Instagram on Friday to confirm she is set to add to her brood with Alfie Brown, 30, with whom she shares Donnie, seven, Margot, four and Abraham, 14 months.

Taking to the photosharing site, Jessie posed while cradling her stomach as her sister Bebe snapped the images before taking to stories where she posed with her three kids kissing her stomach and posted a sonogram image. 

Alfie announced the news on his own Instagram page with the hilarious caption: 'Be easier in future if I just announce when she isn’t pregnant. Enjoy the baby’s foot.'

Jessie wore a tight red top and black leggings in the images as she held her stomach and added a caption reading: 'can’t hide this new baby anymore'.

A host of stars responded with heartfelt messages, with Katherine Ryan sharing a series of heart emojis. Paloma Faith wrote: 'Oh wow congratulations! Big family!', while Helen Flanagan penned: 'Wow super mama'.

Jonathan Ross' daughter Honey Kinney added sweet emojis while Sophie Ellis Bextor: 'Yay!! Congratulations'.

She was soon met with congratulations from fellow Harry Potter stars, with Devon Michael Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan, writing: 'Congratulations Jessie'.

Matthew Lewis, who starred as Neville Longbottom in the movie adaptations of the books, wrote: 'Goncralutations Jessie! What a year you’re having x'.

Jessie's news comes after she welcomed baby son Abraham Benjamin last October, following a 'terrifying and humbling' pregnancy. 

Little Abraham was then hospitalised following a difficult birth before the then three-month-old son was treated for coronavirus in January this year.

Two days after confirming her baby's diagnosis, the British actress confirmed he had been sent home as she shared a series of images from Abraham's stay in hospital, including her diary of his sleep and his bandaged arm.

Jessie shared her thankful note alongside the images, writing: 'Baby is home now. Thank you for all the well wishes and messages of support. Be safe everybody amazing care from everybody at Chelsea & Westminster'. 

At the time, she confirmed her baby was 'okay and doing well' having been stricken with the 'powerful and contagious' strain of the virus. 

Last year, stand-up star Alfie revealed he and Jessie rekindled their relationship after splitting up when their youngest child was only 10 weeks old.

On maintaining a healthy work-life balance, the actress told Bustle in 2018: 'I learned pretty early on you can't do much work with children around. 

'When they were babies maybe, but now they don't sleep so I'm basically on my feet the entire day. My mum is brilliant; she helps me most days. 

'And, actually, up until a few weeks ago I was living with her and my sister. My partner Alfie and I split up when Margot was only 10 weeks old.'

The cartoonist, who juggles her stand-up and acting career with her successful 'doodle' company, famously became pregnant with her first child after a one-night stand with her on-off partner in 2014.
