DULUTH, Minn. – A Duluth bus driver is charged with criminal vehicular homicide for running over a man near the Miller Hill Mall on Sep. 10.
The criminal complaint says 36-year-old Crystal Ball was “grossly negligent” and “distracted” when she ran over 64-year-old David Weston during an overtime shift. Prosecutors allege that Ball did not follow proper blind-spot training when she began driving her bus from the curb without looking straight ahead first.
Ball has a Zoom court hearing on Dec. 29.
