Steve Hill, the president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, will light the Al Davis Memorial Torch for the Raiders' home game this Sunday.
The team says Hill was a crucial part of their relocation to Southern Nevada, crediting him for his "early and constant advocacy on behalf of the Raiders and unwavering support."
As head of the LVCVA, Hill oversees the marketing organization that promotes Las Vegas as a tourism and events destination.

He also serves as the chair of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority, which oversees Allegiant Stadium.
The Raiders have recognized several people credited with helping the team relocate by having them light the torch, named in memory of late owner Al Davis.
Other people who have had the honor this year include former Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, stadium architect David Manica, former MGM Resorts CEO Jim Murren and union executive Tommy White.
Kickoff for this Sunday's game against Washington is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
