The UTEP Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall will be filled with holiday cheer on Tuesday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m.
El Paso Pro-Musica presents a special holiday concert with pianist Richard Dowling.
“I’m a really versatile musician, I’m primarily a classical pianist so the first half of the program will be a little Bach, like a prayer to start. We are all happy to be back at concerts again and then a good group of pieces by Fredrick Chopin,” said Richard Dowling.
He will also perform three short Latin American Classics and close the first half with a holiday medley.
Dowling said the second half of the concert will be all American classical and ragtime classics.
The pianist who hails from Houston, Texas said he will also give a few lessons to students at UTEP as well as perform community outreach by playing at an assisted living facility in El Paso.
