POUGHKEEPSIE – A 36-year-old Hyde Park man has been arrested and charged with felony sexual assault.
Areze Washington was arrested following a month-long investigation into the sexual abuse of a child.
Washington, who was arrested on Friday, December 3, was charged with having sexual contact with a child several years ago in the Town of Pleasant Valley.
Following arraignment, he was released to probation.
