On Dec. 1 just after 12:30 p.m., police said two females entered the S.I. Beauty Supply store at 1351 Forest Ave.

According to cops, while inside they took various beauty items, and one of the suspects was able to flee.

But another suspect was confronted by two women who worked at the store, according to police.

Authorities said the suspect then pushed one of the employees, a 36-year-old, to the ground and punched her in the face. The suspect was then able to flee the store, but without any stolen items.

The other suspect stole supplies valued at about $155, cops said.

The employee was treated by EMS at the scene for swelling and bruising to her face.

Police released video of the melee in hopes of locating the two suspects. Police described the woman who threw the punches as a woman with a slim build, last seen wearing a white jacket, black sweater, black and white tights, white socks, white sneakers and a black bonnet.

The other suspect is described as a female with a medium building last seen wearing all black and carrying a black bag.
