The Whopper is 64 years old.

To celebrate, Burger King will roll back prices today, Dec. 3, and Saturday, Dec. 4, to the original 37 cents.

To receive the special “birthday bash” price at participating restaurants, customers need to sign up for the chain’s Royal Perks loyalty program and order via the mobile app or the website. There is a limit of one per account.

“In 1957, Burger King changed the game with the introduction of the Whopper sandwich — an iconic, flame-grilled burger prepared your way,” Zahra Nurani, head of marketing communications for Burger King North America, said in a statement.

The chain was founded a few years earlier, in 1954, in Florida. Its headquarters remain there.

According to owner Restaurant Brands International, there are now 18,700 Burger King locations in more than 100 countries and U.S. territories, making it the second-largest fast-food burger chain behind McDonald’s. Nearly all BKs are franchises.
