Bumps and Otter — the new experimental, bass heavy, drum-filled project from Matthis Helmick, Roy Ewing, and Derek Niedringhaus — has released their first bit of music.
Prairie Games is a short 5 track EP featuring an eclectic combination of drum machines, live drums, bass, record scratching, and vocals, that comes together create a truly unique and infectious sound full of personality. It’s seriously a lot of fun. “Burnt Em” is probably my favorite of the five, as it gives me some Tribe vibes.
